Welcome to the Widdison Photography blog by Dirk Widdison. I graduated from the University of Utah in 2006 with my BFA in Photography and have been working as a commercial photographer for the past three years for an international crafting company. Though most of my projects outside of work deal mostly with portraiture and wedding photography, my passion lies in shooting action. I love capturing a split second moment and freezing it in time. I hope you enjoy looking at my work and please feel free to ask any questions.

  • Ferris Wheel Utah State Fair 2009

    Yesterday I was going through my memory cards and found some shots that I took at the State Fair about a month ago. I totally forgot I even took them. So surprise surprise look what I found. It is always a fun day to find some cool shots you forgot you took.

    These are of my oldest daughter’s first ferris wheel ride. She was talking about going on the BIG ferris wheel for weeks so when she saw it, the overpriced ride was worth it.
